Product Details
CHO Growth Medium B is a specially developed CHO growth medium for the in vitro culture of our stable recombinant CHO cells (Type-B). The Product Sheet of the respective cell line will indicate the appropriate cell culture medium for each respective stable recombinant CHO cell line.
It is designed for use in an incubator at 37° C with a 5% CO2 atmosphere.
This Medium is provided as a ready-to-use medium.
This medium already contains selection antibiotics for the maintenance of recombinant target expression.
Store the products as follows if not indicated otherwise on the product label.

Basal medium: Ham’s F-12 Nutrient Mixture (1.8g/L Glucose, 1.0mM Glutamine, 1.0mM Sodium Pyruvate)
Supplements:
- 10% (v/v) FBS/FCS
- 0.5mg/ml Geneticin (G418 Sulfat)
This medium contains no prophylactic antibiotics to prevent bacterial or fungal contamination. However, it does contain a selection antibiotic for maintenance of stable recombinant target expression.
