Porcine Nasal Epithelial Cells
Primary epithelial cells were obtained from pig nasal epithelium (Bendas et al., 2023) and immortalized using the CI-SCREEN technology (recently published in Nature Communications; Lipps et al., 2018). In a joint collaboration project between The Technical University of Braunschweig and InSCREENeX the pNAEC (P1 cell line) was established and extensively characterized (Bendas et al., 2023, Koch et al., 2023).
